Tradition with a spin, Shelia and Al are engaged!!

Meet Shelia and Al…

I am really looking forward to photographing their wedding.  I found that Shelia was a bride that is so layed back and relaxed that she is going to have a fantastic wedding day come rain or high water!!

I think when shooting high volumes of weddings, vendors dream of having a couple as sweet as these two.  While I was editing their engagement pictures I ~ I posted that they are so sweet I could squeeze em’.

After spending 5 minutes with the two of them I found they truely are meant for each other!!

The first picture we took is for Mom!!  Shelia mentioned that Al’s Mom likes more of a traditional formal look to the photography.

But I could tell this couple also want to have fun and be creative without missing the emotion of the moment.

BTW~I think Al mentioned it wasd his first time at Presque Isle.

I am sill wondering what Al whispered in Shelia’s ear to get that expression!!

Below is a photoshop tweek….I love the expression on these guys…but my grey skies were moving in and the overcast day was not what I had invisioned.  If you would like to see before and after pics with a “how to” explaination I will be posting a few little tips and tricks to show what I have done to get this image.  I think in any photoshoot it is good to have very raw and real images…but I personally love to have a little spice in the art of what I do!To see the “How To”  visit  www.blog,everafterimages.net  I will be posting shortly.

These are beautiful, Jodie. Love the photoshop tweeks. The second to last pic is actually my fav. Is that background ‘tweeked’ as well, or is that just a foreground focused shot?

Yes…that is also tweaked with a texture placed on top of the image to give it a warm feel…and to add a little texture.
Thanks for looking and the compliments!!

Your absolutely right about the details Jody. A lot of Photographers get caught up in the photographing of the couple and their special guests and all the usual moments like cake cutting, bridal dance and the like. Some never get to those fine little details that mean so much and were placed through out the day with special meanings. They ultimately get left out of the finished photos. I am so very glad to know that you are one that likes to make sure these timeless memories are preserved in the photographs.
Very beautiful pictures from an outstanding photographer!
